Ingredients
Listed recipe quantities, before ice dilution. Ice, equipment and garnish are additional.

| Tequila | 50 ml | Base spirit: flavour and alcoholic structure. |
| Triple Sec | 20 ml | Modifier: flavour, sweetness and/or bitterness; check the bottle. |
| Lime juice | 25 ml | Juice: acidity, fruit and volume vary by ingredient. |
Method
- Add the measured ingredients to a shaker with plenty of ice. Close firmly and shake for 10-15 seconds. Strain into the serving glass, keeping the used ice in the shaker. Serve over fresh ice.
Glass: Rocks glass
Garnish: Lime wedge; optional salt on half the rim
